Ios is a small island in the southeast Aegean Sea, between Naxos, Sikinos and Santorini. It is one of the most popular destinations in the Cyclades, and stands out for its unique natural beauty, golden beaches, clear blue sea and the traditional cobbled capital, “Chora”. Another important monument of Ios is the tomb of “Homer”. Ios island is home to the mother of the great epic poet. Also worthy to visit is the theater “Odysseas Elytis”, festivals and other events, held every summer in Ios.
In the evenings the streets of Chora are full of life, as it is open among others cafeterias, traditional cafes, bars, clubs, restaurants and taverns with traditional Greek dishes, pizza etc.
